Human rights often violated.

Even when everything seems lost,

it's right, it's possible,

to dream, think, plan, express

a new way of living in this World

Each master is a beginner, in the level above his. Even light itself consults the oracle once in a while

The Way

A sustainable world implies evolving towards an economy that puts care and life as priorities.

The protective activity of nature that women carry out in many countries does not have so much to do with a supposed essential connection between women and the land, but with the responsibilities that they exercise in the family economy, and that lead them to think holistically and to Prioritize the welfare of the community.

I believe that only if we understand the importance of being responsible with nature, without being catastrophic or naive, can we move towards the world we all want.

Even after the biggest wave, nature always takes its place.

And I want to be reborn in the center of nature, surrounded by the sea under the sun which gives us energy;

surrounded by flowers and trees that are the life and the beauty of this world that goes faster and more brutal.

The Vessels of Life

Inspired by the blood vessels.

Arteries carry blood away from your heart, and veins carry blood back toward your heart.

Blood vessels contain constant movement, like ourselves we are constantly moving and struggling within ourselves,

as well as the planet to be cleansed and nourished

Nature Overcomes

The clash between technology and wilderness is depicted as a contrast in this artwork.

Nature overcomes the stranded components of technology that are left,

and by doing so it establishes that sustainability and a future focusing on the environment as a priority is key

Escondidas estan las rosas/Discover the roses

Search...search to be surprised, search to discover, search to enjoy, search to play, search to imagine, search to experience, search to be moved, search as a challenge...search to find...search and you will find, the HIDDEN ROSES

Participatory work that challenges the public to find the hidden roses, to look beyond the surface,

in all the broad sense of the phrase.

The look constitutes a great bridge of interconnection between the inner universe and the outer world;

it is not a passive phenomenon, but an active and cultural process.

The gaze is an act of courage, because it is followed by the next step, which is understanding,

and this inevitably leads to commitment and freedom.

Looking is not limited to passively perceiving things, but delving into them, perceiving their hidden life.

Only with the imagination, we can truly see the world.

Look beyond what is observable, see where others do not see, give value to things hidden between the lines

We see everything we look at, but we do not look at everything we see;

To see it is enough to have your eyes open, but to look we need to exercise, to some extent, the will, the will to look to find

This challenge to the viewer, this invitation to discover, to look, to find corresponds to the process

that I start in the creation of the work from the selection of materials. I look to find, I look to create.

Looking at the other, discovering, playing, enjoying, this is part of the world I want

Compassion

The creative duo of two artists, Irca Solza and Alexander Limarev, was inspired by a quote from the film

"Dead Man’s Letters" (1986) about the consequences of a nuclear bomb explosion.

“We found it in ourselves to have compassion, although this contradicted the laws of survival…”

This quote served as an epigraph to the creation of their art work.

Shooting Stars

The world that I want is twilight. I shoot into the sky at the stars. The pony I hold is white as a ghost.

In the evening I light the fires. Somewhere over the rainbow between Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz

is a place that I call Bountiful.

Where the grass turns brown, and the sky turns grey, but the fruit is sweet and colorful.

Keep an eye on the girl who watches you feast on her picnic of many delights.

She beckons your gaze and implores your praise, but her dress is as black as night.

Where the animals gather to share in the fun in a game of “Let’s Pretend”

…we can stay here forever, never remember, and never reach the end.

Desire

Life is a journey from womb to tomb.

During this journey Man is in constant search of the Infinite with his finite possibilities.

The material aspects of life like desire, ambition, yearning

for name and fame pull him constantly down to the earth.

Yet the Search continues. Search for what? …

It is the Search for what can at least partly be attained, being detached from all the material

aspects. That is why human being figures in most of my paintings.

On one hand man tries to maintain his existence by sticking to material aspects of life.

On the other hand he ignores his mere physical existence only to attain something beyond his material longings.

He tries to tear asunder the hard realities of life.

He begins to dream --- the kind of Dream that tries to touch the Infinite.

The colour of man’s Dream is blue.

Dream tries to get to the Sky, which is

Infinite, Vast and immense. That which is infinite and immense expresses itself in blue.

So the colour Blue and the Infinite get merged into one cosmic hue --- that is Blue.

The Moon in some of my paintings is suggestive of the personification of Dream, Hope etc.

And the triangular shape expresses the Heart’s ascension.

Here in lies the co-existence

Dream and heart Reality of life, simply because human heart is the accouchement of Dream,

but Dream feels drawn towards the Infinite against the Heart’s gravitation.
